Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

Why So Many Names??

Good Feelings CBD products are derived from hemp (not marijuana), and can also be known as hemp-derived CBD oil, CBD hemp oil, or plainly “hemp extracts,” since they typically contain more than just CBD. However, CBD oil is different from hemp seed oil and organic hemp oil, as these are derived from hemp seeds (not the resin) and do not contain cannabidiol.

Why Is Extraction Important??

Extraction type and process plays an integral part in developing a high quality CBD product.  We take this step very seriously and have done tireless research into the different methods (CO2 & Bhutane) have found  Super Cooled Ethanol extraction to be as efficient as butane and as safe as CO2 to extract the entire phytocannabinoid spectrum, while keeping the product in tact, and not having to add additional contents in the process.  Our extraction facilities are state of the art and spare no expense through the extraction process.

Will It Give Me The High Sensation??

Unlike THC, CBD does not interact directly with the two traditional cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2). Which is why CBD does not cause any psychoactive effect. Rather, CBD inhibits the enzymes that break down endocannabinoids, leading to an increase in your body being able to naturally-produced cannabinoids. This increase even occurs in our furry best friends, making CBD very beneficial for pets too!

Why CBD?

How Does it Work??

Good Feelings CBD primarily interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which are millions of cannabinoid receptors found throughout your body, but are primarily located in the brain and central nervous system. While CBD is a phytocannabinoid, or plant-based cannabinoid, your body also naturally produces cannabinoids, known as endocannabinoids. Almost every organ of your body, including your skin and digestive tract, contains cannabinoid receptors. The endocannabinoid system has four primary purposes including neuroprotection, stress relief, immune response, and regulating the body’s general state of balance, impacting faculties such as appetite, sleep, mood, and pain.

1. Reduced Risk of Cancer
2. Anxiety and Stress
3. Helps Maintain Brain Health and Create Resilience to Trauma and Degeneration
4. Depression and Mood Disorders
5. Pain
6. Protects against Bone Disease and Broken Bones
7. Better Cholesterol Profiles and Lowered Risk of Cardiovascular Disease
8. Sleep Disorders (Insomnia, Sleep Apnea)
9. Lower chance of diabetes and obesity
10. Protects and Heals the Skin

Say No To Addiction!

In order for us to understand if CBD is addictive, we first need to understand how people get addicted to things. Addictive substance trigger a response in the brain to release dopamine in the pleasure centers, and over time we create dependencies, and ultimately withdrawals when we do not regularly take these items. CBD does not trigger your brain to relate dopamine to your pleasure centers, therefore the euphoric high sensation is never experienced, like you see with nicotine and opioids.
Not only is CBD not addictive, so you do not experience any side effects should you ever stop taking it, but it also work to level out neuro transmitters in the brain to help subside and control other addictions!!
